Some weeks ago BraQueen tweeted about how tacky Jlo looked in the Puerto Rico parade in NY, at the same time I stumbled up on a couple of other tweets regarding Myley Cyrus and Hilary duff displaying their bras.

To anyone's surprise in all cases their bras fit them horribly! With the very same issue almost all ill fitting bras have, Band too big, cups to small...

Now, that seems a little extreme!

It's not the first time we've seen bra crimes, but this travensvestite prositute got caught while stealing bras and other clothes from Kohl's in Mississippi . Not a pretty fella .

The thing is that this fellow has been committed 18 felonies before, and the judge just got tired of this guy.

Lately I've been much more active on Twitter, I haven't been able to udpate much here even though I have tons to say .

Last month, after the site went finally public, I got contacted by two polish women who run two very interesting Bra blogs (both in polish).

• Stanikomania

Julia, from Balconetka, was kind enough to write an article about Bratabase.

Both sites make great bra fitting and reviews.

The Bra fittings in Stanikomania display women of several sizes wearing bras that would normally be wearing (wrong ones). And displays side by side how would the same girl would look in a proper fitting bra. The difference is always amazing.

Balkonetka's Bra catalog is an amazing list of bra reviews and pictures added by users, It has a lot of what Bratabase wishes to be .

It gets updated daily with several bras of different brands and sizes ranging from A to L cups!

Two weeks ago I wrote about the new bra comparisons.

After seeing them in action I realized that they weren't all that helpful. and I got feeback that the the information displayed was hard to interpret.

Now the comparison tables have been joined into one table. It should be easier now to see how is each measurement comparing. There's also a highlight help

But most importantly, there's a summary under the table which explains what do the signs mean, telling you how does the band and the cup (based on width and depth) compare for both bras!

I've just added public profiles to Bratabase. This means that now you know who's behind the information you're reading (at the moment only the bra and comparison reviews).

By default your profile will show your name and the list of bras you've added along with it's reviews. This helps other members to know who are they reading and what to expect

If you wish not to disclose your bras, you can choose not to.

Since this is a delicate subject, you may want to have a different name here than in the rest of the internet so you can't be googled up or tracked down. For that reason I've added the possibility to change your nickname.

That's what happened to Kelly Brook when she posed for a Calendar Girls poster. She was convering her boobs (well, nipples) with a couple of buns with a cherry on top.

The poster was to be found on London's tube stations, which caused Transport For London to demand that they used bigger buns to cover her breasts.

"I don't know what the buns would be in bra sizes but we've gone four sizes up."

Well, that's what Emily McNulty found when she opened the package sent from Bravissimo. Somehow a man that responded to the name Matthew Jones snuck that message inside the bra package.

She called to the phone number on the note and the man who answered hung up after she asked about the note, he wouldn't answere on further calls.

A Bravissimo representative affirms that no Matthew has ever worked for them, and they offered vouchers as an apology.

Have you ever been on the street during a radioactive accident and wished you had a mask with you? Well how thanks to Dr. Elena Bodnar you won't have to with anymore .

She and her team won this year's Ig Nobel for Human health for inventing the bra that transforms in two gas masks!

1. Take your bra off.
2. Unhook both the front and the back hook of your bra (now you've got two pieces).

Dr. Bodnar mentions how these masks could have been useful during the 9/11 attack, or even in Chernobyl if people have had gas masks handy they may ahve avoided breathing radioactive substances.

On March last year, Serena Kozakura(39) was accused of property destruction by a man who claimed that she broke his door to crawl inside of his house because Serena thought he was with another woman.

Fit recommendations

Those who have been using Bratabase might have felt dissapointed because the site never gave them the promised recommendations.

This is because there are not enough members signed up just yet .

To help that, now Bratabase tells you why a bra doesn't fit. Either the cup or the band might not fit you correctly .

So now, if you've filled your measurements you will start seeing more information on every bra you look at!.

Improved search

Now you can make multiple word searches, like "30e astec" and find bras in size 30E that have "Astec" either on the brand or model.

Additionally you can narrow down the results filtering to show only brands, models or sizes

Oh and advanced searches have inches support now!

New bra chest!

When you go to your bra chest now you'll see a table with all your bras and it will show you the stats of all of them.

Here you can quickly see what information is missing on each of them. Read further on how to get 100% out of your bras .

Friendlier measurements page

It is not a work of art yet, but the profile measurements page has been changed in order to walk you through the measurement process.

You can now choose between centimeters or inches and kilograms or pounds .

Breast shapes

Since all women have different breasts, and same size breasts might have different shapes, and bras might favor some shapes over others.

Now when you fill out your profile you can choose the shape that looks closer to you. This allows Bratabase to tell other users which shapes fit better with each bra .

Switch between centimeters and inches

A big issue of the site was that bra measurements were always displayed in centimeters only.

Now the first time you browse around a message will show you how to switch to inches and centimeters. This setting will stick on your profile for future visits! .

This goes for searches as well .

Star rating system

The bra rating widget has been switched to a prettier 5 star rating, so it easier and more fun to rate your bras .

You can now search the help pages

Yes, there's now a Google powered search box on the Bra pages section just like with the blog.

Wow, now that was a lot of stuff. I'm still not happy with the overall look of the site. But I'll start working on that now.

Part of the course includes visiting a factory and the bra surgery:
