Bra fitting help » Back fat or migrated breast tissue?
Fantasie » Costa Rica Padded Balcony Top (5709) » 34E 34:6
Hello, ladies!
First – I'd like to apologize for my bad English, I hope you don't mind
My fitting request is not really about how the bra fits... It's about my body. I'd like to ask – is it back fat or migrated breast tissue? Is it possible to get rid of it? Will it disappear with weight loss? What do you think? What kind of exercise will help?
Or is it after-effect of too tight bands? I'm between band sizes, 34 is usually too big and 32 is usually too small, so I wear 32 with extenders. It's visible even without a bra – http://duhb.own.cz/without.jpg, clothed [Cleo Marcie] – http://duhb.own.cz/clothed_marcie.jpg.
I think it's more noticeable when I stand straight, so I'm afraid it ruined my posture...
If it is a breast tissue, I really don't know, how could I get these bulks into the cups! I'm trying to figured out the right method of swoop and scoop, but I could be wrong...
Thank you for your opinions.
B.

helpfulThat is back fat. Breast tissue does not actually migrate around to your back. (I know, some websites say it can, but they are wrong and the very idea is ridiculous. It doesn't migrate to your arms, either. Most of the tissue that people think migrates is liquid.)
It's ok to have back fat! A well-fitted bra will sit below the shoulderblades and lessen the appearance of back fat. A wide band is also smoothing in appearance and can help to distribute tissue more evenly across your back.

helpfulI'm not really sure, as I have the same problem. I think it will lessen with weightloss, but I feel that ever since I grew boobs (and I was almost underweight at that time) I've had these "rolls". A fitting bra helps, but I don't really now. I also have more of it on one side. The side with the smaller breast. So I can't give a good answer, but I hope to hear what others would have to say.
And in regards to exercise, you can't lose weight in a specific area - however! You can work out the underlying muscles and make the area tighter, which could make it look smaller. My plan is to start doing exercises for this area. I was thinking something with a kettle bell or a hand weight and bending sideways to strengthen the side-muscle. I don't know it my explanation makes sense, I'm not an English speaker either.

I don't know too much about rolls though, so my advice is to be taken with a grain of salt... I'm underweight, so I don't have rolls.

helpfulI'll just be devils advocate here; Whatever it is it really doesn't matter. What matters is if you can move it or not. Poke the rolls and see where they seem to want to go. Try to poke them towards your stomach, downwards or so if you like. If you can poke them upwards where did that fat really grow? I have some parts that seems to want to be stomach, some parts that seems to want to be boobs.
But fat is moveable so you could make it end on your boobs with a lot of effort. Scope it, buy something like a Braologie bra, wear too big cups to force it forward and then smaller to force it more forward and so on.
The myth a "correctly fitting bra" would make it ending up on the boobs is exactly that; a myth. A bra is no such magic tool that can differ fat from fat. So scope and swoop and massage it forward and get it to stay in a bra and experiment as much as you like, but don't expect a miracle, I would say

It could be one or the other. If it is migrating tissue, massaging it every day under the band and to the cups should do the trick. Reach around to your back, when you scoop and swoop your boobs into the cups.
It can take 1-2 years until something really happens. If nothing has moved by then, it is probably normal back fat.
For that problem, you need to pick other bands. They need to be firm, so you can put your back fat under them and it stays there. I also mean the fabric, not only the size. If it's stretchy, it will wander around to the place with the least pressure, and that is normally the gap next to the back fat roll, where it squish everything together to look even bigger -
Fat is not movable. Liquid is movable.

helpfulThat appears to be migrated breast tissue from my perspective.
I think a full coverage bra with wide wings (3 or more hooks) with side boning and a full band could help a lot. The bra you have displayed doesn't seem to offer much support aside as a sling and the wings are very narrow. Because of that, even if you scoop and swoop, the bra isn't functioning to hold the tissue in place.
I like Japanese brands for this type of construction. One I can recommend is Bradelis. They have some full coverage styles with very sturdy, but comfortable, underwire, boning and wider wings. Those are the traits I would recommend when looking for bras to help with migration.
Another tip is to put on the bra with just the band first, don't put your arms through just yet. Then bend at a 90 degree angle so your torso is parallel to the floor. Then bring the left cup and over the shoulder while scooping and swooping and then do the same for the right. Then adjust the straps and in your case make sure there is nothing escaping between the end of the underwire and the armpit.

helpfulI'll comment on the bra itself first. The bra cups a definitely a little bit too small.
As for your back, that tissue can actually go back to the breast cups, but it might take time depending on how long its been there and how willing to move it is. But it definitely won't be achieved by your current bra due to the bra design itself.
There are fashion orientated lingerie and there is functional lingerie. Both has its plus and minuses, what kind of bra you are looking for depends on how you want the bra to perform.
Of course, this is our personal opinion.

helpfulI personally believe that is migrated breast tissue, for sure. Why? You might not be the fittest of the fittest but it's evident you are NOT a fat girl! I think that your boobs have been crammed in too small cups in the past and therefore they have escaped where they could. Many times the most accessable escape is to the armpits. So first the breast tissue wandered to the armpit, then MORE breast tissue wanted to flee because of too small cups and pushed the tissue that was at your armpits even further down. Like a push-down ladder. That's why there's possibility to have breast tissue wander that long. Not because it just fled too long, lol. Can you see the inconsistency of the fat you have on your upper back? It kinda sways in and out, that's not a natural fat progression(if it was because you were fat), usually fat has a bigger area and there would only be folds near your narrowest point, your waist. Just google "fat guy back" and look at the images. A guy can't get migrated breast tissue because he's not wearing a bra. So if you would compare a guy's "fat pattern" on the back you would see that your lumps start way higher up. It also sways more to the sides. I think that over time you can get it back to your boobs!
What you'll need is a good bra with a comfortable, snug band. You'll need the cups to enclose your breast tissue so that it doesn't spill out again. You'll need high enough wires so there's no escape options for the tissue. I usually swoop and scoop bending over so that gravity helps me get the tissue inside the cups I also have some migrated breast tissue on my back so I pull that tissue, quite stubbornly into the cups It's very important that the fit is right because if it isn't the tissue WILL escape.

Braologie might be worth checking into for you :) They design their bras specifically to hold the breast tissue to the center of your chest.

helpfulHonestly, I think a combination of a thicker/firmer band and swooping and scooping will smooth out your back quite nicely. That's not to say that I think this is migrated tissue, just that these solutions will help quite a bit.
I mean, it looks like you're wearing a bikini top.
Try a 32F/FF/G and see what that looks like

helpfulI think it's ridiculous to compare men's fat bodies with women's. I have back fat because I'm fat. I had it before I had boobs (chubby child). Looks the same as the lady up there. And that is her waist by the way, you can see clearly where it goes in. Some will believe it's 'just fat' and some will believe is migrated tissue. The same with 'armpit fat'...though a lot harder to guess if the lady is already a little plump.
To be honest, I think she looks great and shouldn't worry about such small things.

your explanation makes sense, don't worry :D I'm thinking OP should try and scoop her rolls above the band... or get a bra with a thicker band THEN do that, it might help minimize the appearance of rolls
