Bra fitting help » wrinkling at the top--does this bra fit?
Curvy Kate » Emily Balcony Bra (CK5001) » 36H 36:11
Everything feels pretty comfortable, but I still have slight wrinkling at the top. If I slouch, there is a significant gap between my boob and the bra. Is this a problem?

helpfulI think the wrinkles could be a bit of a shape issue more than incorrect size.. I get similar wrinkles in the top of the Emily- though probably not quite as bad. The Emily is cut quite full in the top.. so if you are more full on the bottom this may be why you are getting the wrinkling. I was told if the shape is good and fit is good and overall you are happy with it, not to worry about the wrinkling(if its not too bad).. as its the nature of the cut of this bra being so full on top. But of course it depends how bad you find it and whether it bothers you too much or not. Overall the fit otherwise does not appear too bad. Also as Vee has said, you may find you end up filling it more if you have remigration to happen.

helpfulHave you done your scooping religiously?
http://brasandbodyimage.wordpress.com/2012/09/05/putting-your-bra-on-properly/Because is seems there some tissue at the back you could bring to the cups.
If this is you scooped in, I'd say keep the bra because I think migration will occur so It's better for you to be in a slightly too big bra - you'll get more wear out of it. Sizing down would get you wires on breast tissue.
I am aware I reccommend the Panache Andorra quite a lot, but it's hust such a great bra and I think it would suit your shape and get rid of your gapping provlems because of the stretch lace.Oh and please revisit your perimeter measurement because it's significantly larger then the cup depth of this bra and the wires look like they are in the right place

I agree with Vee. I had this fit with the Cleo Marcie - the bottom and wires fit great, but I just couldn't fill the top of the cup, no matter what I did. I missed the deadline by which to return it, and decided one day to wear it anyway, as the wrinkling wasn't visible under a T. Within six weeks, it was a great fit.
The wires and the bottom of this cup look like a good fit on you. Is it comfortable? Is it supportive? How does it look under a shirt? If yes to those things, I'd keep it.
Do check out Andorra, though. :)

Holy cow, I'd never really known what 'scoop and swoop' meant. I esp loved the video from Ewa Michelak - i'm suddenly wondering if I actually returned some bras that would have fit if I'd scooped properly . .. those videos should be like required reading for all site members!

helpfulLooks really good on you! The only thing I noticed was the center gore wire looks like it is on your left breast tissue. Other than that I think it looks really good!

I agree it looks like a shape thing just because the lace on top isn't elastic you end up on the lose side.
And dito on the double check your measurements comment
