Will look for other bras
Original problem
ABTF was divided about this bra.
There's no gaping and the wire seems wide enough to me. But I have shallow breasts with tall, wide roots, so I wonder if it's too projected for me or too close on top?
My ABTF size is 30D UK.

helpfulI'm divided, too honestly!! Is there emptiness at the bottom of the cup?
but I just have to say that I just read this article from a Polish bra blogger and I thought of you. You will need google translate to read this though, https://stanikomania.pl/czy-male-biusty-maja-gorzej/ But she basically discusses - Do small breasts "have it worse" when it comes to bra shopping?

Yes, you are right!! OnlyHer doesn't make bras anymore : (

FYI, I just found a Japanese (and English) bra blog http://katahabahiromi.seesaa.net/article/398633422.html
It was from quite a while ago though, eight years. Maybe it's useful??

Interesting blog! In one of the Japanese articles they even mentioned shallow breasts with wide & tall roots too (I don't think it's common knowledge in Japan)

It was from this list of Bra Blogs from Busty Resources (note: some of these blogs haven't been updated in a while but can still be useful!) https://bustyresources.fandom.com/wiki/Bra_blog
actually, probably half of these links do not work, or the blogs are "invite only" so not readable to the entire interwebs. : )

helpfulI also responded on ABTF. It’s molded, so it’s hard to tell if it’s too projected at the apex. Is there empty space? It doesn’t appear to be too closed on top to me. Unless there is something not showing in the pics, you don’t seem to be escaping the tops of the cups.

Agreed! TBH the bra feels a little too snug for my liking, maybe I’m too used to bras that don’t feel like they’re there (like Natori Feathers)

helpfulJust from the measurements of the band and your torso, venturing into the 28 inch band for a bra may be helpful. Aesthetically, the bra looks too wide and tall for your frame. I also wonder if you have more breast tissue on the sides that isn't making it into the cup because the cup is too small when looking at the measurements of the cup depth and how much tissue you have to fit into it. I
I agree that it does not look too closed for the breast tissue. While you have tall roots, they are average in fullness.
Given you are just beginning your bra fitting journey, you may find that your breast tissue feels more comfortable in front with better fitting bras with time and your sense of having wide breast roots changes. Swooping into a bra where the band is small enough and the cup size large enough, but not too tall in your case, can provide a profile to swoon for. It can be a comfort adjustment going down into bands that actually fit. You may want to try fitting into unmolded cups to get a better feel for your breasts and how they accommodate different bras. Molded do not provide that flexibility when starting out.
Refrain from moving to bras with stiff wires. Your ribs and sternum will probably not like you much!
Verdict: Too big band, too small cup, combined with a shape mismatch for your frame.

I don't think there's emptiness! I enjoyed the article, the comments mention Polish OnlyHer , but they don't make bras anymore right?
