[Resolved]My boobs are *square*!
I think Curvy Kate is just a mismatch for my size and shape. Thanks for your help, everyone!

I do have some center fullness. The bra seemed to handle it quite well in that it's supported and contained, but I never thought about center fullness getting squashed. You may have something there. Thanks!
Augh! Not triangle boobs!!! 😱
I think that may vary from country to country and region to region, Rosetta . If someone had asked me, I would say that smaller busts are what is socially desirable in today's society! After all, that's what models and, to a lesser extent actresses, have. I people associate larger busts with fat, and fatness is seen as unacceptable. A few years ago, the way people talked about Christina Hendriks, for example, was very negative.
My guess is that smaller-busted women are made to feel less-than for being "too small" and larger-busted women are made to feel less-than for being "too big." And there is no "perfect" size that will keep a woman from getting derogatory remarks and hints.

THE BRA
This bra's cut is similar to Curvy Kate Vegas and Tropics, but feels firmer than both all over. The lace half of the cups has little to no stretch. The wires are fairly narrow and the cups are deep and somewhat tall. It's very supportive. The kitschy floral print is actually quite nice in person, especially with the pale blue bows.
ME
I'm still learning my shape. I know I have soft tissue and narrow roots, and I need lots of projection at the wire. I think I'm omega-shaped, a little FoB, with center fullness. Wires like to slide out of my IMF. Wire ends like to stab me in the armpits.
THE BRA ON ME
The Daydreamer gives me firm, comfortable support and seems to fit just about perfectly. I think it looks lovely on. Unfortunately, something about the cut makes my breasts look square under clothes. It's like I have blocks in my shirt!

THE BRA
The Clara is gorgeous in the Charcoal/Black colorway. It looks elegant and understated, but more interesting than your standard black lace bra.
Clara is shallower than Jasmine and Envy; I believe it has less immediate projection and less overall projection. As a result, it seems to run smaller in the cups than those two cuts. The 34 band feels the same as any 34 band from Panache. The wires are typical Panache wires: long, wide, extremely firm.

THE BRA ON ME
Clara slides out of my IMF (about 2") immediately and stabs me in the armpits, just like Jasmine and Envy. Unlike Jasmine and Envy in this size, Clara produces noticeable quadding on both sides. This one is a miss for me.
That black lace over charcoal sateen tho!! <3 This one will survive the ill-fitting bra purge to live on as a bedroom bra.

I have permanent skin discoloration from wires stabbing my armpits. It hurts! So far, I've found that Ewa Michalak SMs and some Curvy Kates treat my armpits better.
I still haven't found anything that will stay put in my IMF though.
Omega solidarity, my friend.
THE BRA
This bra's cut is identical to Curvy Kate Vegas, AKA The Flamingo Bra. If the Ellace almost worked for you, but you got in-cup quadding from the too-stretchy lace, then Tropics and Vegas are definitely worth a try.
The band runs big around this size, at least compared to Panache (the brand I have the most experience with). I fastened the 34JJ on the tightest hooks and was able to wear the 32K comfortably. The straps are pretty stretchy too.

THE BRA ON ME
At the beginning of the day, the Tropics was wonderfully comfortable and gave a nice, natural shape. After a few hours, it slid about 2" out of my IMF. It was still pretty comfy, but the shape got pointy, my larger side was quadding out, and I had some serious bounce. I also started to notice some east/west action (which may have been there from the beginning).

eBay saved search is my only hope there, I think. But worth a try! The Daydreamer did go up to a K cup.
