Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help point me in the right direction regarding brands I might try (or should probably avoid and save money and time!) for sports bras which will fit a close set bust.
For my everyday bras I HAVE to wear a plunge as anything else comes up far to high in the centre front - I ... have less than a finger's width between my bust without a bra. So any wire higher than below my bust is just too high. Also the U shape of the wire just plain doesn't suit my rib shape and tends to pull away and dig in at the same time whilst coming far to far around the side as if my boobs live underneath my armpits (which they don't).
My current best fitting bra is a 32FF in the Bravissimo Satine. I was originally advised to choose a 32G and initially bought a few in that size but unfortunately the wires came too far round under the arm pit and too high up and so dug in. As I am between cups and have the narrow breast root, I instead opted for the FF cup which fits well in the wire shape/position but it would be nice if the cup could have a little more projection a bit quicker. But its better than being in pain as I was in the larger cup.
Anyway, I am looking for a sports bra which is suitable for wearing when using a high resistance mini-trampoline. So probably the highest rating offered. My last attempt to find a sports bra was when I was much smaller (a 32DD in M&S sizes) and it was a hellish nightmare even then. Common problems for me were too deep side wings leading to cutting into the top of my underarm, in wired styles, the wire would be too high on both sides of the bust and far too wide. In unwired styles, there still seemed to be too much space between the bust apex of each "cup" even in the crop top styles. I tried one sports bra from M&S which came in a 32DD at the top of their regular range and one in a 32DD at the bottom of their DD+ range in what was meant to be the same style. The cut was radically different with the "smaller" 32DD fitting better, but still not great.
This is probably a wild goosechase I'm starting on but I would really value any suggestions at all including bras which might be close enough if I'm willing to alter them (if that's even possible whilst maintaining the purpose of a sports bra). It has been several years now since I have left the house more than once a month and the most exercise I get is going up and down the stairs to bed/the bathroom. I really need to get fit again and not having a sports bra is really hindering my attempts (because its painful to do more than a gentle walk in my regular bras and I need to start my exercise with things I can do in the house for mental health reasons).
Thank you for any help you can offer, and sorry for the long post. I don't currently have a working camera or access to a tape measure (I have tons, they've just gone walkabouts) so wanted to be as thorough as possible without my profile being as filled out as it ideally should be.

I order my Comexim with cookie pockets. I hope to have two sizes to wear that will cover all my size fluctuations. However, they just seem to be increasing in size over the past six months despite my static weight. Because I wore 34" bands on my 28" ribcage, bras did not fit well enough for me to notice. Sigh.
THIS. I get so frustrated! My breasts fluctuate between a 28G and 28GG for no apparent reason. Usually I'll wear one size for about 6 months, then switch to the other for 6 months, then back. I always get very sad when they get bigger, and elated when I switch back to the smaller size. I always assumed it was due to slight weight gain--I never need to change size in anything else, but I feel like I must gain just a few pounds, and about half of it goes to my breasts, while the rest is distributed evenly over my whole body so I don't notice. I never weigh myself so I'm not really sure, but I am sure that its frustrating!
I just have a few bras in each size, and swap them out when necessary.
