  Of course, the interpolated measurements are estimates, best way to get real numbers is to pester those who have the bras and to add them here ;)

  The stretched band measurement should not be taken religiously. It can vary based on who stretched it, state of the bra and on plain inconsistency of the manufacturer.
  For me, the best way to consume the stretched band measurement is by looking at all the separate entries, then I get a better sense of how it behaves than just the average because this number can have a lot of variation.

I finished editing pretty much all of the shapes submissions, there's only a handful left. There are 131 breast public breast shape entries at the moment.
There are also some improvements on the shapes sets handling, and viewing. With more entries we'll find better ways to browse through this. Simple pagination may start not be enough.

Additionally, you can now also link ... your profile measurements with any of your breast sets, if you can do this please go for it! It will be very useful in the short term!

• I just added an answer for this on the FAQ for the breast shapes:

  In summary, it is impossible to designate one fixed size to each set as their size will vary based on brand/model/comfort. Having anybody say "Thou shall be a 32G" will be wrong for many cases and correct for some. Then people will think "Oh this is a 32G and get the bra on a different bra see that it didn't work and say "Oh Bratabase has the sizes all wrong".

  It is the wrong expectation to assume that each breast has **a size**.

  What we have added, is that when you set your breast measurements you can associate them with a set of shape entries. Then we can use this information to make a better linking between each brand/model/size entry and will be able to not show ~a size~ per entry, but to say which specific bras are recommended for each entry. Of course we don't know that yet, we need users' collaboration for that.

• There is a field next to the "Search" button on the listings that says "Order results by" and has two choices:

  * Recent first
  * Cheapest first

  I reduces it to those two because I wanted to keep it short and thought that those would be the most common cases.

• I've received quite a few notifications so I'm assuming they've worked for me. Definitely not written something in the wrong field? Or maybe the bra you should have been notified on had the info filled in slightly wrong? If not then I've not a clue.

I still have some bras listed to sell or swap! I need them gone! So I can put more in, of course. I might have a drug problem, and that drug is bras. But the ones that don't fit me deserve good homes too, so help me find some! Please get them out of my hooooouuuse!

• uhm.... is there? Thanks, I'll have to look at this. Normally the strap related options does not affect the overall fit on the bra. Maybe there's a bug with the recent changes. You got a bra you can point me too to take a look?

Slight decrease on reputation

Maybe some of you noticed, reputation might have gone a few numbers down in general. This was due a change I made this weekend.

There was a problem where you could add a bra, write a review and comment yourself on it a number of times and accumulate reputation. Which... seemed like an invalid way to get it if abused. So I changed that which must have affected most people down by a few points, this is because you weren't abusing it

• Yes, this is an FF bra. Recently Freya decided it was a good idea to change their sizing scheme, they now use a different cup system for US sizes, so new bras will say UK: FF and US: H.

• :S daggummit. lol I was so looking forward to mail delivery tomorrow afternoon.
  I did email to ask which size it really was. I was told that the color is in the pictures, which I didn't even ask about, and "it is a 32 H US. Is this accrptable?"
  Nope. Now I'm going to see if the seller will take a return as an exception, since they have a no return policy.

  The seller said that she would check another bra when she got home, though I'm not really sure what she meant or why. I should've asked before paying though, which I know, and it's their stated policy, so if she doesn't refund I'll just resell it clearly stated and hopefully only lose out on some shipping.

  I checked the one I already own, and sure enough, it's sized what I'd consider oddly also. UK 34GG & US 34GG. So is my current one in the way that they now size them, and the 32H a previous sizing method?

  I also ordered two other Freya's last week (that do run past GG) in an unmoulded style from a store that's in the UK. I'll be sending one back regardless (ordered two sizes because I was unsure which would be the better fit), and now I'm REALLY hoping they're actually the UK cup sizes. Surely they are though, being in the UK.

• Is there a way to make it so that bras that fit under old measurements but are now marked as 'didn't fit' for more recent measurements stop showing up under 'these bras also fit her'?

• No, there isn't a way, but there is a reason.

  Hiding the fact that a bra fitted you, would make the information unavailable for other user who is in search for how that bra fits. The passing of time is irrelevant on this matter really. We treat each set of measurements as a separate entry no matter when they happened.

  By showing that a bra fitted you, it allows other user to explore what else worked for you when that bra did. If we didn't show it then someone else would not know that it once worked for you. As a visitor it doesn't matter to me if the bra fitted you last year or last week, the fit information is useful (ignoring the fact that answering questions may be more difficult for old bras).

  This brings complicated situations, if on your first measurements bras A and B fitted, and on your second measurements bras B and C fitted. It is hard to tell if A and C will fit together.

  The root of the problem was my decision that I wanted to make the individual measurements you've taken private. So others can't know if you've measured once or 10 times... Looking back, I don't see how much privacy is gained there. I think I'll change this soon.

  The idea of showing if a bra fits, is from another user to answer the question "If A fits, will B fit?"

  So, there is a reason (that I'm having trouble to articulate).

• What I like to do before sending a message is to set when the user last logged in, especially on older listings.

• Yes to that ^^, there are some users that don't show back on the site or forget to update their listings :-/ ...

  You can look at the date the listing was added. Recent ones are more likely to be still available.

• It should say how at the bottom of that page. Add your blog to your profile on the blogger section and the site will start picking up your blog.

  It is a bit of a weird confusion though to have different fields for a website and a blog ... but I can see the need for the separation :S

• I did that weeks ago (added the blog to my profile), and the blog URL is also put in the website box, but my posts are not visible in the feed. Eg i did a post at 12 today and it's not there. Although if you browse in the bloggers section my blog is there, it just doesn't show my posts, so I figured there was a tag or something in the htmlr that I had to put in.
