My friend agreed to let me size her. She's been frustrated for so long now and I was afraid that when I offered to help she'd shoot me down and say it's fine. She's currently wearing something like a 36b and she's like 100 pounds soaking wet. I'm afraid she'll freak out when I tell her what letter she is but that's a bridge I'll cross when I get to it.

lol good luck
Hm, I think that before you size her and throw a number/letter out there, you should first either send her to an informational website, like The Busty Wikia or /ABraThatFits, so that she first understands that most women are in a band too big and cup too small. (Or you could just tell her some basic myths/misconceptions and then suggest some websites.) Another place you could send her to/show her is The Bra Band Project, and have her put in random sizes. Show her the pictures of what "Ds" and "Gs" really look like, so that she understands that D doesn't necessarily mean huge and G doesn't mean impossibly gigantic. :P Basically, let her mind absorb realistic and properly-fitted sizes so that when you give her her new size, she can wrap her mind around it and it doesn't terrify her. Been there, done that, and I've found the best way to do it is to let them down gently rather than just drop them in the shocking pool of icy water, haha! Good luck. :) (I'm about to do the same for my mom, aunt, and grandma in a week or two, so I know the anxiety!!)
