One would think that I've been living in a cave not having a clue about who Ms Hendricks was and what influence her body shape had on perception of body image world over. Maybe my grey cells can only store a limited amount of celebrity info due to my age and/or general disinterest, who knows. :)
OK, so now my view on the "love lost" within the community: the kindest and wisest move is to ignore a toxic user/post/comment. Staying away from the attention seeker who thrives on heating up the air would be the best strategy for nurturing love and peace.
I agree erispe when it pertains to the usual crankiness, but when someone is just blatantly body snarking (and inexplicably not being kicked off the site even though it is against community rules) I think a lot of people, myself included, feel a duty to speak up. There are a lot of vulnerable feelings around bras etc. and I do not want other posters to think that mindset is a majority view.
