Need nursing/soft cup bra recommendation

I am 6 months pregnant and my boobs are continually growing. I am guesstimating that I am a 34J, bratabase has me at JJ/K but I think that may be too big.

I originally thought I would get a cheap bra at the store in about a size 44DD so I can sew the back band to fit, but that was a bust since that seems to be a hard size to find as well. I winded up getting a Bali soft cup bra in 2x for $8 which definitely does not fit me and I can't wear outside my house but it is sooo comfortable.

I need reccomendations for a soft cup nursing bra that I can purchase online with free/low cost returns since I don't technically know my size. Hopefully affordable as well in the 34HH- 34K range. I live in the US and do NOT have a Nordstrom near me unfortunately.

Thanks in advance and I will not get upset if you let me know that there is no such thing.

  • I've been told maternity2nursing.com and Cake lingerie are good. The first ones are one size fits all and I think might be too small. Cake has individual sizes but in 34 they just go to G. Maybe you could order a larger back size.

You might also contact EM or Comexim and ask for custom made bras. They could do them without words and with the drop cups.

  • Are you nursing another child right now? Or are you wanting to buy ahead of time? If the former, yes, try Polish brands like EM and Kris Line--they actually sell nursing bras. If it's the latter, I really would wait, because there is NO way to guess how you'll measure once you have given birth and your milk comes in. I'd get a couple of nursing tanks for the first week after the birth (which will give youmore time to reassess the measurements situation, especially since your ribcage is likely to shrink back down quite a bit) and then buy something then.
