Growth and Frustration

Does anyone else sometimes feel like there's some pressure to wade through Panache/Cleo bras?

Sometimes I feel like some folks don't see a size as "your size" unless it has fit flawlessly in a Panache or Cleo. It's frustrating to me because I despise their hard wires, and the gores are the worst. If it weren't for how damn hard the wires are, I could deal with how wide they are on me.

I get that those bras are considered pretty consistent and true to size, but they feel like torture devices even in bands that are 4" too big.

As an aside, I have CK Madagascar coming in tomorrow in 30GG and 30H to try, since it's supposed to be good for short roots. I couldn't find it (or Bardot) on Amazon in a 28 band. Here's to hoping!

  • Absolutely. Like you, I'm too short for Lily, Lucy, Mimi,.. Because of their popularity, I had hoped to use them as a baseline for fit. Not gonna happen for these short roots. "I've got you, babe" ;-) ;-) Sigh. However, I can tolerate Andorra longer than any others. I've had such uncomfortable experiences with Panache and Cleo that we will not be friends. @smallbandbella can you commiserate with us? :-)

  • Can you clearly see all your ribs? I carry all extra weight around my pelvis. I wonder if my lack of padding around my ribs might cause increased discomfort in firm wires? A hypothesis...
