Compression sports bras

I just got a Shock Absorber Active Multi Sports (4490) from Amazon. I've never had a compression style bra before--exactly how are these supposed to fit? I usually wear a 30G in most bras and I got the Shock Absorber in a 32F. (I would've gotten 32FF also but it was way more expensive and I didn't want to pay that.) :)

The 32F is good and firm in the band, and the cups are very much filled. No separation at all, the boobs are really smashed in there. It seems like there should be quad but there is absolutely not at all, even when I swoop/scoop. I'm still wondering about the 32FF, but since there is no quad in this one it's likely a bigger cup would have less support...right?

If anyone out there has tried this bra (or other compression styles) and has any thoughts, I'd love to hear them!

  • I am also planning to order this one and heard it was tight in the band and small in cups. I am in dilemma whether to order 32DD or 32E (I am a UK 30E ).

  • Have it and love it. My opinion? If this one works, you're probably correct that there would be less support in a 32FF. I personally am looking to buy another in a smaller size, since I've found the band stretches pretty quickly. And if that super tight band does, the bust area may as well. (It seems to be on mine, but my boobs are the first place I lose weight, so take that with a grain of salt.)

erispe I'm measuring at 28:6 right now and went with a 32D(UK) The band was almost uncloseable on first try, but the cups fit well; I would recommend a 32DD
