Sports bras
I just realized I'm prejudiced against open back sports bras. For some reason, I think it's acceptable to work out in just a racerback sports bra and shorts/pants. But a sports bra that looks like a regular bra? I felt super uncomfortable wearing one without a shirt, and haven't bought one in years because of it. And I use to be small enough I could (and did) run wearing a bikini top. It's a dumb attitude to have. Anyone else have this problem?

Me, too. But, when I see men proudly shirtless and women in indigenous cultures proudly shirtless, I'm reminded of the powerful socialization inherent to our culture.
Absolutely agree. At the same time, running without a sports bra hurts. I have no desire to destroy my Coopers ligaments any more than I have to. And it's a pretty awesome back-up pocket for when I forget my arm band :)
