Sad! New bra... does not fit.
I ordered a bra from Jaimie at Bra Obsessed, and she's been incredibly helpful in suggesting things that may help with my current fit issues. The bra was Anna Pardal's Sophisticate Balconette in 30GG, in the Sabine colorway. It has an overlapping gore.
With the overlapping gore, I was hoping I could fit the 30GG better-- I have the teeniest bit of quadding in the same size in AP's Nuance Plunge. Unfortunately, the quadding is actually far more noticeable in the S. Balconette. So much so that my gore doesn't lie flat, and when I push it against my sternum I just quad out even more. I can hardly wait to see how an overlapped gore works for me when I get one on a bra that DOES fit, so I'm a touch antsy!
It seems this bra will be going back. I'll post pictures, measurements, etc in the morning before I email Jaimie for suggestions and send the bra back.
