Post surgery bras?

Thinking about my upcoming shoulder surgery, I realized that being in a sling for 6 weeks means I'm not gonna be able to put on a normal bra! What are people's experiences with those front-closure post-surgery bras? Are they worth it in terms of controlling bounce and nipple coverage at all, or should i just go braless under my winter coats?

  • I don't know about the typical post surgery bras but I just read a review recommending the Ewa Michalak sleep bra as a post surgery bra.

I also know that the un-bra can be customized with a front closure and a racerback if it would help keep pressure off of your shoulder

  • Unfortunately my surgery is in 2 weeks, so i wouldnt be able go get an EM by that time i think. And with the unbra being $35 minimum plus $10 shipping to get it in the time i need, that's a bit out of my budget for something i wouldn't wear again x-X
