Anna Pardal Mystery

Bra detectives alert! When I read that Anna Pardal had closed (sad), after lusting for an Anna Pardal for a year but never consummating the relationship, I checked her sale site to see if there were options. There were, not at a further reduction, but still some there in my sizes. Of course, I dithered further and did not purchase immediately (yes, should have known better...). Now the sale site is closed down too :( Frequently, when a business closes, the existing stock is transferred/sold to a re-seller or broker. I checked her resale partners Bra Obsessed and Sophisticated Pair to see if they had absorbed the stock and were offering it. Nope. I searched the internet for clues; nothing. I know the word is that Comexim will custom-manufacture to AP models, but that is not what I am after. I am wondering if any of the knowledgeable and connected Bratabase sisters know where AP's existing stock went? If so, I would totally stop dithering! Thanks for the clues & insight!

  • You and me both, girl. It's like a bunch of bras just vanished.

  • I suspicion Comexim practices lean manufuacturing which enables them to produce custom orders effortlessly. Each order is created at the time of ordering. One of the reasons manufacturers have transitioned to this method is the exceptionally low inventory levels; dramatically reduces capital invested in work-in-process and finished goods. Contrast Comexim's order fulfillment with Ewa Michalak's who uses some batch processing: bins and more bins of work-in-process which dramatically reduce her ability to customize orders. If I were investing, Comexim would receive my money.
