Looking for a modern one of these- any help?
I love how the retro bras fit like a tank top almost- going way up into the armpit. I cannot get a bra- no matter the cup size- that won't cut into my armpit fat. I am a medium size, but I carry a lot of my weight in my shoulders and arms (and armpits). Would love a bra with modern cups but looks like this sort of fit: (see photo)

It does not fit me well, but it has a vintage and very comfortable cut. You can find them around $45 on eBay.
Wacoal is doing a retro-inspired thing right now, with a similar bra portion that appears to have high side-wings (go into the armpit). They do not have the full-torso that you are looking for:
