Using Bratabase to solve a sizing mystery...

I was feeling like my 65E Simone Perele Andora bra might not actually be 65E. The band is huge! I'm no stranger to wearing bras with loose bands either.. It must stretch to like 34". I bought it on Ebay where the seller said it was a 30E (it would say that on the tag along with 65E because Simone Perele is weird), but when I received it the tags were cut out. Anyone ever gotten the wrong size on Ebay? I feel like it could be a thing.. However, it fit okay - the cups were smaller than my 65F Andora, so I wasn't too suspicious. I guess the large band didn't start bothering me for a few weeks because I was so excited for this bra.

So I was trying to figure out if my bra is a 65E by comparing measurements on here. There isn't much data for these bras, but it seems that my bra is actually similar to the one other measured 65E. It wasn't much like a 70E at least.

Anticlimactic. I wish I could blame the giant band on it being the wrong size :(. I love these bras. It's notable that my 65F Andora was never this loose.. It was black rather than beige and I swear the black material is stiffer and has less give.. wonder if it is true.

So... What do we think about Rixie Clips here? Otherwise I have to sell this bra because I can't stand the feeling of the cups sliding around and riding up.

  • Have you just bought it? Is the band similar to the 65E Caressence or bigger? I have only heard about the rixie clip, never seen one, but curious, too.

  • We're fans of Rixie Clips :)
