Strap Placement

What does it mean when I place my bra straps nearer to my neck for comfort? I noticed on a lot of pictures people tend to wear their bras in the little shoulder groves, where ideally the straps are not too wide. When I do this it's just not comfortable I rather place them like 2" away from my neck. I think this is because my bust is heavy, even though I don't think my bust is really big. Do I need a bigger cup for more support I believe my band is tight enough. I'm basing every thing off my comexim 70M I have been wearing it all day and have given it time to mold to my boobs. The quads have reduced as tomorrow is the last day of my cycle, still lightly present. I just don't know why the shoulder pain, the straps aren't too tight. Perhaps I will order a 70M and a 70N and see how that works. I've already sent an email for my long line Tropical Garden and the Gina bra sets. Does anyone know if either runs large in the cup? I was thinking the TG might so I was going to get that one in 70M and the Gina in 70N both will have the reduced gore of 6.5cm/~2.5in.

  • for some reason all bra makers make the straps too wideset. they think women want ALL their bras to be wearable under the widest boatnecks. It sucks. my straps fall off ALL THE TIME.

so it means bra-makers suck. esp for smaller band sizes. but comexim will customize bras with the straps moved in

  • If you posted a picture of where you are wearing and others are it may help . Depending on style of bras the straps lay in different places on people plus add in body type. Your bust is large though I was looking at a similar size in comexim and I prefer to wear my straps on my shoulders just at the point where the shoulder bone starts about 3" on me away from my neck. If I have the straps closer it hits on the nerves making my arms go numb .
Do you think you are trying to get more uplift and support by centering the straps over the bust apex ? Like a full coverage bra tends to have ? Maybe you need more support from the band ? I don't know your underbust measure .
