Ewa Michalak HM, why did I wait so long?

I recently got two Ewa Michalak HM bras in 65DD from vesela_krava which fit spectacular (Thank you). They are in my drawer next to my other HM in 65F which fits well and my HP in 65E that also fits well. I also have a selection from Curvy Kate and Panache including the 28F - Panache » Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675) and Panache Jasmine (6951) in 65DD among others. I have the 65G - Comexim » Geisha (202) as well as the basic, which have two completely different fits on me. The geisha is decent, but the gore doesn't tack.

First off, I've realized that I can move up to a 70 band (in most cases) for Polish bras because they do not shift in the larger bands.

But the point of this post is that I've been resigned to using only the EM bras because they don't hurt at the end of the day. They support my breast how they are, and give a slightly rounded shape. All other bras, including the Comexim, make me sore by the end of the day. The panache bras have too rigid of a wire, and they do not give a flattering shape at all. The Andorras smoosh my breast into a shallower area, but they do not have wrinkling or gaping like virtually every other unlined bra I've tried (outside of EM). I can't manage to describe what the Jasmine does to me, but it's uncomfortable and the shape it gives me is the worst shape I've had under clothing. It manages to make my breast look super pointy (not natural at all). It's currently too small slightly, but it did the same when it fit properly.

The EM bras are not perfect. The wires are a little too wide which causes wrinkling in the bottom of the cup, but it does not affect the support or shape at all. It's even more interesting that they fit decently in various sizes. The 65F is obviously too big after trying the 65DDs, but the shape is still smooth, rounded, and it's comfortable! They are the first bras that give a nice shape no matter what position I am in. No gaping! I'm in love with the cut and know it will be a staple in my bradrobe for a long time.

It's wonderful to find a bra that works with my shape after searching for years.

I am wondering if there's something I can do about my Andorra's though. They're so pretty that I don't want to remove them from my rotation (even though I haven't worn them in months). I'm wondering if I can swap the wires out for something narrower, but I wouldn't know where to look for good wires.

  • I love HM! The shape is so round. I'm surprised it's not more popular!

  • You can swap out your wires , you can get them from a supplier that sells to people that sew their own bras , there are a few that sell via etsy , I think eBay , bra makers supply .com is very well known but in Canada I am not sure if they have the soft narrow ones you can ask they are really good at email . Now this store on etsy has what is I think you might be looking for here is a link to the listing https://www.etsy.com/listing/256956150/bliss-bra-underwires-1-pair-sizes-34-52
And a link to a blog post about them

She is in Canada to so the shipping is a factor but seems like most are not in the USA .
It will change the shape a bit deeper but not much as your breast should be pushed to fill the deeper part.
