Comexim Alterations

I love Comexim bras and altered plunges are my best fitting ones, but I feel like a half cup cut would fix some of my last, minor fit issues, but Im confused about some of the terminology. What exactly is a 3 part half cup? Are all Comexim half cups two parts? I've been looking at the website- the Victoria only has 1 (visible) vertical seam whereas the Sonia has 2. Is this what is meant by a 3 part vs a 2 part cup? Can you still get the "regular" alterations on these bras? Cup height reduced/gore lowered/straps move in/overlapping wires at the gore?

  • 1 seam is 2 part and 2 seam is 3 part. Youcan get the gore and the straps altered but they won't do cup height on a half cup.

  • A three part half cup (the ones with two seams) will be deeper in the cup and more projected than a two-part (one with one seam).

I just ordered a Sonia, and when I emailed to see if they'd make it (as my size is outside of the range listed on the website) they asked if it was going to be a 3HC (three part, two seams).

I have always seen people say they won't do reduced cups on a half cup but I could swear I've seen HCs that have a reduced cup height. I dunno, it's worth asking, maybe it's only at a certain cup size they won't?
