So when I first got on here, I was sized at a 38K, I diligently bought said bra and it didn't fit. cups were way to big and the shape was all wrong. So I bought a 38HH, again cups are too big, and shape is wrong. So I buy a 38H, and hit gold, or so I thought, so I buy a couple more 38H's, no luck at all. I post up here and get some quite helpful feedback on a fit check. My band is to small. So I add an extender, low and behold the shapes shape up as it were. So now I've been wearing bras that more or less mostly fit, way better anyway then anything I have worn sense my teens. So today just for shits and grins I try on the 38K again... and now the darn thing fits. What gives? Did the scoop and swoop really make that much difference, or do I just now know what a good fitting bra feels like. I'm so confused, anyone else have a story like this to share?

Yup! I thought my E in Ewa was "small" but really I was just not used to a close fitting bra. I still prefer the F because up until now I did not know what a good fitting bra felt like. When I put them on all I could think was no way this could not be right. It does take some getting used to especially, if like me, it has been 30 years of wearing the wrong size. I am getting better at not convincing myself a fitting bra is uncomfortable but it has taken some getting used to. And yes the scoop and swoop makes a difference. Some bras need a finesse swoop and scoop to fit properly.
I have at least one bra I returned because I didnt like the 'pointy' shape and it was slightly big. I really wish I hadnt returned it, as I've grown a little and now realize I love the 'pointy' shape lol
but also remember your breast size can change during your cycle - took me like a year to really get that. i wear different bras in the first and second halves of my cycle
