Jasmine texture

So, here I am, enjoying my first Jasmine. Its actually a better fit than my Ewa Michalaks, because it DOES contain my inner fullness. I dont have to reverse-swoop 2-3 times a day to keep my boobs from pushing the wires down from the gore.

But . . . the texture . . . I have the Black Ricamo, a black with a large floral print. The cloth is a very stiff mesh. My floris was a stiff but smooth cloth, but this is rough to the touch. wearing it, I experience it as slightly itchy - but no more annoying that the scalloped elastic bands that often get folded up under the wires on other bras. Irritating but not a huge deal

But my husband commented right away - its unpleasant to touch with the hands.

So . . . are all Jasmines like this? A rough mesh? Are any of a smoother fabric? Does it soften over time?

(I'm also having trouble getting used to the shape under clothing - i think it IS slightly pointier than my floris, tho it could be partly due to being a larger cup size - 32J to 32JJ)

  • Have you washed it yet?

I have the black ricamo Jasmine and I did find the material a bit rough at first. I hand-washed it with a splash of vinegar in the rinse water and it softened up a lot. It's not like...silky-smooth or anything like that, but not nearly as rough as it was at first.

  • the panache paloma i have is a mesh fabric with embroidery on it , it was really stiff and rough to the touch so much so that i soaked it in fabric softener after the 3rd wash had not softened it up . That worked like a charm .. I have never had to fabric soften my bra before lol . once was enough i have not needed to repeat . have you washed the bra yet to get out the sizing (starch ) they use during manufacture ?
