WHY DO MY BRAS DO THIS?

My collection of bras primarily exist of Panache Cleo's in 28 bands. My main reason is the 28 band. I'm pendulous, close set and omega shaped. My Bratabase measurements are 26FF-26G and my bra size range is 28DD-28E-30DD-30E.
My Cleos are 28 E/F. Technically, the E fit, gore tacks, band nice and snug, underwires enclose the tissue. However, they all tend to push me toward the center and flatten me on the outside of the cup. There is less of this happening in the Cleo Lily. I don't get the "round, apple shape" often described for Cleo bras. If I go up a cup size I get less spilling out in the center but the wires and gore start getting too wide. I tried a Comexium Basic in a 28 H, the G felt to small. The band and under wire seemed to work but the gore didn't tack and I still spill out the middle, although not as much as I do in the Cleo's.
So do I mark these bras as fitting in the cups and what causes this?

  • I think your fitting issues would be best addressed if you posted a fit check.

  • I second the fit check.

It sounds to me like you might need some more projected and narrow bras. I can't wear Cleo outside of the Karen/Maddie, and that fit isn't good, it's just a good moulded bra that covers the poor fit. My comexim plunge fits the same way.

Have you tried the Panache Jasmine? I don't like the shape it gives at all, but it's the first nicely fitting non-moulded bra I tried.
