OK, so, this is going to be my first post, good for me! :-)

What bra were you wearing before you found out your true size? That´s an intriguing question, because there were many of them - and none of them good enough, of course.

My first bra was a bra for kids when I was thirteen, and it was the only time in the following 10 years I wore something that didn´t hurt. A few months later, I got 34 B. And then 34 C, D, DD, E - which was so small I wanted to cry my eyes out. The 34 E Wonderbra still haunts me. The wires digging into my breasts caused me a lot of pain. Later on, I got a 32 GG, which meant the cup was close enough, but the band was still way too big, and a 30 FF, which meant the band was almost fine, but the cups were too shallow... And then, a lingerie store came into my town to do a one day bra-fitting and they got me my first bra that fit - Curvy Kate 28 HH Gia Blush, and I will be forever greatful for that :-)

I hope I will get the opportunity to try another brands, but in my country, the choices are very few, unless you live in one of the two largest cities - which I do not... Currently, I order stuff from Brastop, E-bay, Amazon.uk... Some of them fit, some don´t - but still are much better than anything I get from bra companies in my country. The only Panache bra I tried is much larger than my Curvy Kate bra, so big I am afraid I can´t tell my proper size based on it. I guess I have to make a trip and try some of their bras on in real life... And then order it online.

Sometimes I go to shops and ask the ladies to give me bras with the smallest band and largest cup available. And then I tell them it doesn´t fit and that I won´t buy it. Maybe one day, with enough feedback from the assistants, the local lingerie producers will start creating wider range of sizes... It´s also some sort of a small (but sweet) revenge for for all those years I had to listen to shop assistents telling me it had to fit, that no one could have had such large breasts... (ugh! definitely not a good thing to say to a teenager struggling with body issues!)

And now? Now I have Curvy Kate and I love her ♥
