Anyone experience pain with Masquerade Rhea's straps?

I got my 30D replacement Rhea the other day. I wore it a full day today and it's alright comfort wise, compared to the 30DD which I thought was very comfortable.
The worst part are the straps; I only had to partially adjust the ones on the 30DD, but I need to adjust these to the longest they are able to go, and the metal clasp (thing..that you move the straps with because I can't English right now) on my right digs in a little and feels like the strap is still too tight. It both is, and isn't.

The cups look a lot better, but I would say they JUST fit. Not sure why one cup difference would result in this problem?

  • I also have painful straps in Rhea :-/
I think it is because they´re only partly stretchy and so goddammit far apart from the center, almost in the armpits.
Many sites for bra making say that straps "should not be" completely stretchy material but I have to disagree with this. I find many straps that don´t stretch all the way, painful.

This, however, might not help you because it sounds you have some other problem with the straps if other size was ok?

  • @Fairy79 I was thinking and I actually think that since the cup is smaller, and therefore lower(I don't have the same height problems with this one at all) the straps have to reach down further than in the 30DD.
It's probably only like half an inch to an inch, but I think just that little bit makes it uncomfortable. But the cups themselves fit a lot better, so not much I can do. :(

Unfortunately I don't remember if I measured the cup height of my other Rhea, but it would be great to compare. I will have to check.

I think you are right though. They don't feel stretchy on mine at all. Just a little bit of stretch with maybe different fabric on the side that hits your skin might make it a whole lot better. Maybe haha

I definitely agree about non-stretchy straps. Dx
