About EM Sm Cynamon bras

I am looking in to buying my first Ewa Michalak bra. One that seems to be what I would like is the Sm Cynamon . What I'd like to know is what the Sm stands for? Does the "S" mean "seamed" for the seamed cups? And how about the "m"? Could these leters meen something in Polish?

  • IF the letters mean anything, its in polish. But basically she only has a limited number of models. The letters are the models. the names are teh fabric / color.

The SM is a usually firm fabric unlined model which tends to push the breasts up high, whereas the BM is an unlined model with some stretch to it and a more natural shape. The S is a lined bra which seems to be very different at different ends of the size spectrum - closed on top in the smaller cup sizes and open in the larger sizes. PL is a lined plunge. Her lined bras are lined with cotton and come with pads you can use ot add oomph or to correct for asymmetry, but the unlined bras dont come with these pads.

I dont know the CH/CHP/M and a few others because they dont come in my size.

I think there's an article around here somewhere explaining the models but i have no idea how to find it

  • The "letters" indicate cut/style. The "name" simply refers to the fabric/color. I don't speak Polish, but I made my own conclusions:

•Anything ending in "M", think "mesh" for unpadded bra; for everything else, it will be padded

    •S: Supportive (balconette)

    •SM: Supportive Mesh (balconette unpadded)

    •Cynamon: A type of fabric/color

SM + Cynamon = Supportive Mesh (balconette unpadded) in Cynamon fabric

All EM bras have seams except for the molded strapless bras.

As far as I know, Ewa Michalak Sm Cynamon (517) has been discontinued. You may find a pre-owned one floating around somewhere, though. That's one thing about EM bras that differs from other brands -- there are no continuity models/colors. Once they run out of fabric, it's gone. The styles ("cuts") are still around, but the fabric selection is constantly changing. There are several other SM options available, but the Cynamon colorway is no more.
