For those who have had bra straps curl: I'm washing a new to me but very old EM with thick straps that had curled somewhat. In the process of washing it, I discovered that if I soak the strap thoroughly with warmish water I can flatten it no problem. I'm going to put it to dry with something heavy over the straps. I'll update to see if this is a permanent solution to the dreaded strap creasing.
Update: It works! I had no idea something as simple as warm water would help flatten the straps. Hopefully it stays this way and doesn't crinkle back up with wear.
