My bust has changed significantly since the last time I cared to buy a proper bra. As a result I've worn a 38DD and 34DDD for about a year and a half now. Sadly these bras have given me significant scars around my rib cage. :'( I measured myself today and when I exhale my band is 32 inches, when I inhale its 34 inches. My bust is 42 inches. So I estimate my size is about a 32:10 or 34:8 (index sizing). What are some bra brands that would be good for someone this size? (I.e. no less than 3 clasps, underwire is sadly needed, thicker straps to distribute weight more evenly, etc). Does anyone have the same band size that they may suggest a band size based on brand (I get a lot of brands vary on band sizes, i.e. a 32 in one brand may only be 29 inches, but in another could be actually 32inches and thus affects the cups as well). Its been a long time since I've used this service so hopefully someone can help? Thanks in advance!

  • I probably have bigger breasts than that, but panache jasmine might be a good one to try? UK sizing. if you measure your breast perimeter (part of the set up here), that should match the cup depth, so you can look up jasmine at various sizes, look at the pictures to see if they look about right, and look at the cup depth measurements to see if they come close to the measurement around one boob

You could also do a fit request

I dont know where you are, but i buy most of my bras on amazon, looking for free returns

  • Comexim bands can be simultaneously stretchy and supportive. Their wires are dramatically softer than Panache. Straps on my Comexims are a very supportive .7" and you can specify the numbers of rows and columns. I order my Comexim with 4x3 fasteners. They have styles that work well for projected breasts (plunge and 3HC) and shallow breasts (2HC). Their balcony bras have excellent immediate projection and work well for those with short-average roots. Hope you find something much more comfortable SOON!
