Three reasons I love lined/padded bras:
1. Protection from flying elbows
2. Protection from cuddling child's bony chin
3. Painfully sensitive nipples
As much as I would love to wear unlined bras exclusively, lined bras are like soft armor. I'm very thankful for armor

haha when I first started wearing underwire bras again, after 25 years without, I was upset because I COULDNT cuddle my son - if he leaned on me, the (panache) underwires destroyed my ribs . . . but I admit, i do feel cuddled in my Ewa Michalak S.
So many good reasons though.
Reminds me, for whatever reason every one of my pets (I have 3) loves to step directly on my nipples when trying to get comfortable and I always imagine what a better world it would be if there were metal bras.
With plushy soft inner padding, of course.
