Ewa and hot weather

So, i keep seeing people saying how excited they are to get unlined bras for summer because its cooler. Well, admittedly, I spend most of my time in the air conditioning, but the last few days have made me revisit a thought I had back in the winter.

I honestly think that Ewa's lined bras are more comfy in the heat.

I was wearing my 80M - Comexim » Coco (381) the other day. Now, admittedly, almost everyone has described this bra as itchy, but its a sheer lace fabric. I got sweaty in it and those lace-wrapped wires were so uncomfortable they almost hurt.

Today I'm wearing my 75J - Ewa Michalak » Bm Bibi Fuksja and was out running errands. I can definitely feel the wires. Ok, that often happens by the end of the day, but still.

but in between, I wore my 75JJ - Ewa Michalak » S Granatowa Pantera . . . i didnt really notice the sweat in the IMF.

I think the cotton lining absorbs the boob sweat (if there's not too much) so it doesnt collect under the wire and encourage raw skin. I swear, looking closely, even the wire channels look to be cotton.

I've always preferred cotton against my skin . . .so maybe its just me.

but has anyone else noticed this?

  • I agree. I don't find padded bras uncomfortable in the heat.

  • I certainly agree with the comfort of cotton lined bras against my skin. These new "space-age" fabrics they're coming out with are supposed to wick sweat away from your skin and make it evaporate; but I'm sorry, they just feel like any old plastic, person-made ;) fabric to me.

I put out a lot of boob sweat, and in the heat and all this humidity we're experiencing in my part of the country right now, I'll take a cotton-lined bra any day. 😓
