When you wear the wrong size bra after having worn the correct size for a while..

Wow. So, I'm still having boob problems-I have a mammogram set up for Tuesday. For anyone I haven't responded to on my previous post, I apologize and I'll get back shortly :-)
We ended up having to take an emergency trip back to Philly area (unrelated).

Anyway, I asked my bf if he could go pick up like a $3 bra at Wal Mart (yayyy) because my boobs feel like balloons and I can't comfortably wear my Comexims that I brought. We're 5 hours from home.

He recommended Nordstrom, but I can't justify buying a $60 bra in a size up just to temporarily make my balloon boobs happy.

At this point, I'm really just wanting a boob hat/boob shaper because I'm uncomfortable wearing properly fitted things with my boobs being weird.

But wow, this bra. I used to wear these bras for work all the time and I never noticed. I just had a 36C and 38C before coming here a year and a half ago or so.
The band rides up, cups are too separate, boobs are still spilling out the center. But still better than not wearing anything or wearing my more snug bras right now.

Has anyone else tried wearing a bigger band/not so great brand after being properly fitted?
I can't believe how oblivious I was. XD
And to boot, at this point I would have normally gotten a 34B or 34A. How did we live?!

  • I've had a few periods of frustration where I've thought I was going back to my old size of like 34B or C. Sometimes because I missed the cleavage from VS bras. That never lasts long because I realize I can't stand the bands riding up and the cups sitting on my tissue.

Hope your boobs get to feeling better!

  • Giggle. I know I can accept torturous conditions if I'm unaware of alternatives. Hope Tuesday provides insight and help!!
