Bra Challenge

First, thank you to everyone who runs this site and all the comments! More than reading articles, I find the comments and fit checks here to be the most insightful! Thank you!

So, I have deduced that my shape is unique and need some recommendations. My highest computer generated fit after using a proper tape measure was a sports bra (34%) and I don't want one. The other higher ones (17-28%) are too narrow.

My shape...wide roots, horizontal, oval shaped breasts, projected esp. Immediate projection, bottom full (right side), even (left side), reduced fullness at top, but tall shallow roots, splayed or inner fullness esp on one side, yet close-set when pushed together, soft tissue, prominent nipples, small band size. My measurements: snug band 25", tight band 24", super loose exhaling band 28", bust standing 33.5", bust leaning 34.5", bust lying 33". My breasts size can fluctuate up to 0.5" either way with weight gain and pms, but this is a good accurate middle of the road measurement and current.

Here is what I am looking for....reasonably priced, lace top for best fit, side support or something that pulls the breasts in (splayed and wide roots), side wings 3.5" or more with long wires 10" is ideal to keep side boob in, lined for modesty, if possible slight padding on bottom to give some upper fullness, wide wires (5.5-5.6) and as small a band as possible (26-28" or feel like it). Projection? My size is 26ff/g or 28f/ff.

My best fit is the Nessa Frida push up (lace, padded) but it is too small in the cups (65e) and too large in the band for a best fit. Plus they don't make them anymore. That push in, push up, lace, 3-part triangle cut works like a dream for me. I heard Fauve is good but they start at 30" in my cup size. 32DD la senza actually feels comfortable, but the cup height and shape is too high and wide. Cleo Juna 28ff and 30e was too open up top. I altered the band so it fits with the straps tight but I wouldn't choose it again. (Actually, my left, smaller even-shaped breast loves everything, including the Juna. My right breast is fob, super wide and gaps at the top a lot. If I shove a cookie in the right to solve the gaping, it looks really asymmetrical because my right is fuller in volume to begin with!)

Parfait Charlotte? Pink 28FF or G? Too shallow? Floral Shimmer in 28dd or E? Is that model too open up top and narrow? Any 30" with super tight bands? Or just order a Polish bra already? Lol! If anyone is familiar with Japanese bras, I am open to suggestions. If I can get over my embarrassment, I could use my sister in law's summer address in Japan and ask her to bring it home with her. Being Asian, I wonder if this may solve all my fit issues.

Thanks to those who read this far! Hope I haven't given you a headache with this challenge!

  • I was thinking Parafait might be a brand to try

  • I'll answer at least one of your questions: The Parfait Charlotte in Floral Shimmer is actually very closed at the top, but also extremely narrow. So it might not be the best choice for you. Other colors are supposedly wide and shallow, but I don't how other Parfait styles fit.

Have you tried unlined Cleos? Or Freya half cups? Lulu Tout 30 bands are tight, I'm not sure if the wires are too narrow but they are good for FoB and immediate projection at least.
