Another swimwear dilema

The cups of my 32F Cleo Cassie longline bikini top are too small so I'm trying to find a replacement before my vacation on the 16th (story of my life :p). Would anyone mind chiming in with their opinion on these suits and my thought process?

I was originally looking at the Freya Club Tropicana seen here: http://www.freyalingerie.com/swimwear/clubtropicana/aw16/banded_halter_bikini_top.aspx?colour=midnight
I really like this one because not only is it (finally) a print I'm fond of but it's also convertible, so I don't have to wear it as a halter (they aren't usually great on the neck). Unfortunately, it's set to be released this month so it either hasn't been released just yet or isn't widely available because the only place I can find it has it "on backorder until July 4th".

With that, I reluctantly moved on to look for more options. I came across the Electra Blue Jewel High Neck Crop Top here:

And the Electra Blue Jewel Banded Halter Bikini Top here:
http://www.freyalingerie.com/swimwear/electra/ss16/banded_halter_bikini_top.aspx?colour=blue%20jewel
I'm really into the mesh on both of them and the high neck version seems great for security because I always have to tuck my boobs back in when swimming in a bikini that's too open on top. I also wonder if it might be more comfortable because the weight might be distributed more evenly across all that fabric in the front instead of two strips of fabric coming in from a more awkward angle.
Anyway, the issue, aside from them being halternecks, is that the high neck only goes up to FF and the only 30FF that isn't too small for me right now is my Ewa BM. I could go with 32FF but with the bands on Freya's bras having a reputation of running big, I don't want to run the risk of the band being *too* big, causing the halter to do more lifting and be more painful.

I did have reasonable success with Freya's Sunset Boulevard Halter back when I was a 30H (aside from the wires being painfully tall and wide) so I should probably just go with the standard Electra halter but the high neck really does call to me. I'll be ordering two sizes in either case to save time on potential exchanges, but I don't know if I should bother with the uncertainty of the high neck when there's a perfectly acceptable second option that has a higher chance to work even if I don't like it quite as much.

What do you guys think?

  • I like the high neck one too

  • I like the Club Tropicana. I have sensory issues with high neck stuff in the summer, so that one wouldn't be my choice.
