about EM tracking

So, the USPS status on my EM package changed 9 days ago from something about package not found in our system, to tracking not available for that product from Poland. Well, normally it only takes about 3 business days after arriving in NY, so I was feeling frustrated. My postal carrier gave me an 800 number, and once I was able to get through to a person, she WAS able to track it! She saw that it spent a full week in customs, and only left NJ 2 days ago.

I feel so much better knowing its not lost - but its also great to know there is that option! I cant see how thats cheaper for them than displaying it on line, but whatever.

  • dbmamaz That seems like such a long time for a small package to be in customs! However, I used to work for a small company where we regularly had to buy small mechanical parts from Sweden and Netherlands and the same thing would happen :(

  • back when my packages COULD be tracked, I had one spend a week and one spend a day. eh.
