Polish Bra Frustration!

My beautiful Ewa Michalak S Mojito arrived today. It's gorgeous, and it doesn't fit. It's my first EM bra, so perhaps it's not surprising that I didn't get it right first time, but I'm still really disappointed, and grumpy with my difficult boobs for not letting me wear the bras I want to!

I think the size is OK: I usually wear 30E, and I ordered 70E, as I thought it wise to size up in the band and the Bratabase measurements for other S models in this size looked promising (I haven't had a chance yet to measure this particular bra). However, it's actually a bit too narrow and projected for me.

So, I need to exchange it for another style, but it's all a bit confusing and I have no idea what might be a better match for my shape. PL, M, 3D? And what size? Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've definitely ruled out the half-cup styles, as I don't have any upper fullness and to be honest I'm not a fan of the profile they give.

Or maybe I should just give up on EM in general?

All advice welcome!

EDIT: having just done a quick measurement with a ruler (I don't have my tape measure handy), I don't think it is too narrow - I'm getting 5.4 inches, which is more than wide enough - but the fit is definitely off, so I think I'll try a fit check to get some feedback.

  • Well, I think the half cups are the widest - Ewa Michalak is a brand known for narrow wires.

  • Well, I am narrowish - most bras in my size are too wide for me - but it seems I've actually found a bra that's too narrow!

I'm pretty sure the half-cups won't work, as they look to be too open on top for me (I've got nothing up there to fill them with).

Sometimes, I really don't like my boobs!
