Pink Cleo Marcie sizing inspection

I consider my size to be closer to 30E, but I found a Marcie that fit well in 30F in pink. Just recently I also tried a Marcie in 30E in turquoise - I'm comparing them here since it's so often said that the pink Marcie runs small.

Link to my turquoise 30E Marcie: http://www.bratabase.com/bra/difem/

Measurements in Inches (Pink 30F left, Turquoise 30E right):

Cup width 5.5 / 5.3
Cup depth 9.1 / 9
Depth ratio 1.7 / 1.7
Wire length 10.5 / 10
Cup height 6.0 / 5.3
Cup separation 0.6 / .6
Gore height 2.8 / 2.5
Wing height 3.5 / 3.5
Strap width 0.5 / 0.5

Conclusions: They both fit and measure very similarly. The pink Marcie has slightly taller cups and longer wires. Since cup depth and width are so similar, I'd say it is true that the pink Marcie runs a cup size small.

So first, I wouldn't recommend getting the pink Marcie in your "regular" size since it does seem to run a full cup size small. Opt for another color instead.

However, sizing up one cup size and selecting a pink Marcie will give you taller cups than would be in your "regular" size. I think this helps my 30F pink Marcie be even more FoT friendly, though other times it gapes on me the tiniest bit. On the flip side, the 30E turquoise ever so slightly will cut into my top fullness at times. The shorter cups of a non-pink Marcie might suit someone who enjoys shorter cups or needs slightly less FoT room.

  • Helpful!! Thank you :-) :-)

  • I think part of it, tho, is the stretchiness - you didnt measure band or stretched band. THe raspberry was super stretchy, band and cups
