Comexim Plunges... Oh Yes!

My two (I was feeling reckless) new Comexim plunges arrived yesterday. My first attempt had been a Pioson Ivy in 70G, which was too large in the cup (thanks to those who offered feeback on that, by the way).

My new order was for the same bra in 70F, and a Gina in the same size. They both fit!

Comparing them to my Nessas in 65F or 70E (I think Nessa uses UK cup increments), the cups are just slightly narrower and not quite as deep (the difference is about 1/4 inch in both dimensions), so the fit is a little more snug. But, this does create some rather pleasing cleavage, which is quite remarkable, since I'm all outer fullness! It's like they had been made for me (which, as my husband pointed out, technically they were), but the style just seems to be spot on for my shape.

If I'm being picky the gores could be a little lower, as although I'm not centre-full, my roots are close-set, so the gore is resting gently on breast tissue. It's not a big deal, but I might order a reduced gore next time - can anyone tell me how this might affect the fit?

So, what shall I order next... Hmmm...

  • The lowered gore will make cups more closed - and may cause the quadboobs - this what Ive experienced. If your standard size without customisations is 70F, then if you need straps moved in, will add cookie pockets and lowered gore - you could try 70G :)
Im 70f with standard comexims, but with straps moved in and cookie pockets - 70G is perfect

  • Thanks, martka00, that's useful to know. I will ask for cookie pockets to be added as a matter of course (asymmetry is a wonderful thing!), but I probably wouldn't ask for the straps to be moved in - they are set wide on my shoulders, but it doesn't bother me.
