Armpit breast tissue?

I'm new to the whole "properly fitting bra" thing. Only recently did I find out that what looks like "armpit fat" is actually squished up breast tissue! I just bought some bras that at least as far as I can tell, fit great. (30E's from Panache)
Can anyone who has had this issue tell me how long it usually takes for that squished breast tissue to find its way down to, well, the breasts? I just want to know so that if it doesn't fix itself, I'll know that maybe I need different bras or something.
Thanks for helping out a newbie!

  • Usually breast tissue up in your "armpit" but over by the strap attachment is your tail of spence and it doesn't necessarily need to be in a bra, nor will it ever migrate.

  • so, just to be clear, not everyone believes that breast tissue migrates like that, and some of us (older, heavier, squishier) just have armpit flab that may or may not fit in the bra. So you cant 100% expect this migration from armpit to breast - only some ppl experience that.
