Full but not full, orange/cup thing, maybe? Cleo Maddie 28DD
Hi all!
Would love your fit advice!
I'm shallow, a little FoB, wide/tall roots, and close together, more outer fullness.
So, I got the Cleo Maddie Moulded Balconnet T-shirt Bra (7091) in 28DD. The band feels uncomfortably tight. I prefer a 30 band. But the cups - so if I bend over and scoop n swoop I fill out the cups completely - very nicely in fact. But when I stand up my flesh falls and the cups are no longer full. I get larger gaping on the left (my smaller side), but not as much on the right. If I puff my chest out while standing I can fill the cups, but if I am standing normally, the fit isn't as good.
I would love your advice on what to do. I had originally tried this on in a 28D which was too small, but now the 28DD seems too big, kind of? Maybe it's the shape of my breasts v. cut of bra?
I'm guessing that I need to go to a 30 in the band for more comfort, but I have no idea what to do about the issue with the cups.

If you have the right amount of breast volume for the cups, and the wires are a good width for you, it is probably a shape mismatch. I have the same issue with Maddie. It's perfect, as long as I walk around puffed up all the time. Hah. It's hard to say without seeing it on you, but for me it seemed that the cups were slightly too shallow on bottom, but too open on top (I am full/projected on bottom but shallow on top). People say that Maddie is good for shallow FoB, but it wasn't a good fit for me. I actually think it's better for shallow breasts that have more even fullness.
What did work better for me, for the most part, was Cleo Jude, Masquerade Ardour (but size up a cup if you can find one), and Timpa Duet Lace Demi (sized up in band and cup). You could also try Cleo Juna. It fit me better than Maddie, but it still didn't work well enough to keep (but it might for you).
Btw, I would only try Jude if you are definitely full on bottom. It is VERY closed on top and causes quadding for most people (I quad slightly in it on my larger side myself, but not enough for it to bother me).
