Comexim haul
Yay, my Comexim order came in today! I'll do proper reviews later, but I already tried both the bra and the bikini top on, and both fit, with some minor issues.
I ordered the Poison Ivy as a 3HC half cup, in 75J, a cup size larger that I normally wear in the 3HC, as my 75HH Beauty quads just a tiny bit. This 75J gaps quite a bit. A little gapping was expected, as I may be in between sizes for this model, but it also seems much more open on top than my 3HC Beauty, which adds to the gapping. The Bikini top I ordered is a 75HH Bora Bora, also a 3HC. This one is much more closed on top, even more so than the Beauty I own in the same size, and therefore it quads a bit more too.
Could the difference in openness on top have something to do with the fact that the Beauty has a horizontal lace trim at the top of the cup, and the Bora Bora bikini top has a horizontal band at the top of the cups too, whereas the Poison Ivy has no trim at the top of the cup at all?
I probably should have ordered the size the other way around, as the more open on top Poison Ivy would probably have worked in 75HH, and the bikini top might have been better one size bigger... Oh well, live and learn.
The bikini top I'll probably keep, as I need one right away, and a little quadding (it's minor) is something I can overlook in a bathing suit. It's gorgeous in all other aspects. The only other issue is that the straps are not fully adjustable, but I can shorten those easily.
The Poison Ivy I might not keep, as the band is also crazy tight, seriously, this 75 is much tighter than any 32 band from any other brand I own! I might even retry this model in 80H. It's beautiful
I might do a fit check just to get some opinions on whether or not I should try this a cup size down.

Yes the trim on the beauty can absolutely contribute to it being more closed on top. All of my Comexims with trim have been more closed on top. Poison Ivy half cup is very very open on top. Almost so that my usual 60HH 3HC size gaps just a little bit on me. But it's so beautiful, you're right. I feel responsible for the slew of PI half cup orders lately LOL!
I didn't really like any of the 3HC designs enough, and your version looked so good. I'm still wondering whether or not I should exchange it for a 75HH though, as the open top is really quite gappy on me. I'm just afraid the 75HH might be just a tad too small again, like the Beauty is... bra dilemma!
