So, my local boutique store, which I hate but does carry a few things in my size, posted several new models they have in stock, to their website. No brand or model. Just "this great plunge comes to a JJ cup" and "this beautiful set come in (whatever) size range.

Does this seem normal to anyone?

  • I've noticed this a bit myself. It's frustrating to us but maybe their logic is...then we'd have to go in to try it on, check it out. And once in the store, if we try on, get fitting help, etc, we might be more inclined to just buy it (if it fits) or something else. Whereas if they said, 'this lovely Freya Blah Blah model...' - then we'd look it up, find the cheapest price, get it shipped, and the local bra store's out of business.... That's my theory anyway! (I have no local source of anything close to my size, so someone elsewhere would always be getting my money!)

  • Yeah, thats what I was assuming too, i guess. Its just not worth shopping locally if they only have 3 bras in my size and dont take returns at all. i mean, it sounds nice in theory. I did once ask if they had a specific model/size and of course they said no, but they could special order . . .yeah, with no returns under any circumstance, why would I?
