Aubade releases new constructions

I often take a look at their website as I’m completely in love with their designs. Sadly their constructions seem to not quite work for me (I’ve tried some halfcups and one balconette).
So when I saw 2 new shapes, supposedly designed with fuller busts in mind, I was very curious to try them on. I also read this post https://comicsgirlsneedbras.wordpress.com/2016/08/17/curve-nyc-preview-aubade-ss17/ and I suddenly felt an urgent need to put my hands on these beauties.

Yesterday I stepped into their local store and tried on two bras, L’Aubade à l’amour emboîtant comfort (full cup) and corbeille confort (half cup), both in black.
Even though the size range is still poor (it ends at the G cup), I have to say they’ve done a great work when it comes to the construction! I tried a 85(70)E in both styles as they didn’t have any 80(65)F in stock (but this size does exist). The band was too big but the cup fitted great (for reference, I wear 65F in EM). The full cup shape is actually a balconette – there’s a little more coverage than in EM SM style but I definitely wouldn’t call it a full cup. It features rather narrow wires and the shape is natural but rounded with a very good uplift for an unpadded bra.

But my heart was stolen by the halcup confort shape. There are two major differences between this shape and the classic halfcup (corbeille) – the cups in the classic version have the same height on the gore and under the armpit. In the comfort version, the underwires run higher under the armpit area and therefore enclose better my breast tissue. This is also much more comfortable than my 85D - Aubade » Reine Des Glaces, there’s no tension in this area. The other difference is in the band – unlike the classic halfcup, it features the U shaped band. The shape in this style is even better than in the full cup – much more uplifted and rounded, still centred. The underwires are similarly narrow. This shape allows more projection than the classic halfcup. The both styles, comfort full cup and halfcup, have very high gores.
I’m totally in love in this new construction and I would love to have one in my drawer. I thought that none of the recent colourways was interesting enough to buy it, but the black one is stunning. I hope I won’t give in before EM releases her new bras.
Have any of you already tried the Aubade’s new constructions?
