First trip to Bravissimo, any recommendations?

When I have the time to do so,possibly this Saturday, I am going to embark on my first EVER visit to the heady realms of Bravissimo, which is silly considering it's less than 10 miles away from me.

My 5 measurements are, 25.5,24,31.32.5,31.5. I have a lying breast perimeter of 9.4 inches, which leads me to think that I should be trying in the ranges of 28E-F..Well, some of the users here think so, and they know more than me so I'll listen to them. I am currently wearing 28DD, which the gore is jutting out and is giving mega cleavage when I push it flat so the sizes above seem sensible.

Only thing is I have no idea what I should be trying. I am very close set, fairly narrowish roots, quite projected. Feel free to have a look at my awful bras.

I have previously been recommended

@CleoMarcie,
Cleo Kali
Cleo Lucy
Bravissimo Satine ( what size, doesn't that run teeny?)
Longline bras

Any other recommendations for brands, sizes and modeks I should try?

Sorry for wasting your time here.

Thanks, MsLollipop1

  • I don't know what the Bravissimo is like, but when I go to Dillards here I try like everything in my size. Its so exciting to be in a store that actually has my size! Might be a good idea for you too as you try to nail down your size - i think 28F is a good place to start! It's good because sometimes a pattern or color I don't like ends up being my best fit. Depends on what kind of shopper you are though - this would overwhelm some people but for me it's pretty quick to know if a bra is going to work for me after i put it on!

  • I agree with annabellynn - just try everything in your likely size, even if you don't necessarily like the colour or design, just to help you figure out what does and doesn't work for you. Then you can start to home in on bras that you both like and that are a good fit.

    Basically, at this early stage when you are still trying to find your best size and understand your shape, don't dismiss anything without trying it first. Although I'd say that you're likely to learn less from moulded bras (as they can hide so many fit issues) than you will from unlined of soft foam-padded bras.
