Not so Sunnie over here...

So, I had a weird experience with Aerie's Sunnie Demi Coverage Lightly Lined Bra (2790-7598). I went into the Aerie store to try this bra in 32B. I had recently purchased this bra in 30C and it fit great (although I wish there was more fabric to cover the sides of my breasts), but I wouldn't have minded a looser band. I figured it should have fit comfortably based on my experience with Aerie's Hannah style where I can fit into both the 30C and 32B quite fine. Boy was I wrong! My breasts were completely squished in the 32B. I had breast tissue poking out over the armpit edges of the bra screaming "Hello! There's not enough room in here for me!". It was NOT a lovely sight. So I told the attendant what was going on and asked for the bra in 32C. She said it could be the shape of the bra and suggested that I try the 32B in the Sunnie full coverage style as well. I always figured that my breasts were too shallow to fit into a full coverage bra but I decided to give it a try. The attendant brought back a Sunnie Demi Lightly Lined Bra in 32C and a Sunnie Full Coverage Lightly Lined Bra (9792-3487) in 32B. The 32C was too big. The wire enclosed all my breast tissue but my breasts did not fill the cup. I found it interesting that the 32B was too small and the 32C was too big. Anyway, I went ahead and tried the 32B full coverage bra. To my surprise, it fit perfectly. However, I didn't buy it. I took one look in the mirror and decided I wasn't going to buy it. Although the bra fit perfectly, in the mirror, it looked so big on my tiny body. I guess because I've worn demi style bras my entire life, I thought that the full coverage bra looked weird on me. It felt great but looked weird. So I left the Aerie store empty handed that day having learned that if I want to wear a Sunnie demi bra, I can only wear it in 30C.
