Elomi Morgan & Portia

Has anyone already tried Elomi Portia Plunge Bra (4150) or Elomi Morgan Banded Bra (4110)?
I'm very curious about them. Do they fit differently than older Elomi bras or just the same? Bratabase says that Morgan is a Cate / Caitlyn cut. But apparently it does have a stretchy lace on top, so it is not entirely the same.

I wonder if it is actually supportive despite the stretchy lace panel. On Bravissimo Nordic Rose the upper cup is made of a somewhat stretchy lace fabric. It does not give much but offers good support. It's not the kind of super stretchy lace as on Panache Jasmine, Andorra and the likes. Jasmine cut does not work for me as the top part of the cup doesn't offer enough support.

Ahh I just want to try them. I'm curious and I just can't resist some new bras :D But I shouldn't... I own already so many bras... :S

  • I tried the Portia as well as a few other new plunges. The Portia did not have any stretch, it's just a regular plunge. The Anushka and Carmen both had very firm fabric, including the stretch lace top. The Anushka lace was lined with stretch tulle if I recall correctly. The Carmen was not but the lace or embroidery was made out of a super firm mesh. Both were very supportive. However, all were scratchy to me. I haven't tried the Morgan because I didn't like that colorway.

  • cupandahalf Ahh I totally forgot your adventure about scratchy fabric on Elomi bras from a few weeks back. So Portia is guilty of that too? I don't need another bra with scratchy fabric. I much prefer Cate / Caitlyn, Tatiana or Orla fabric.
I was curious about Morgan since it's a new model, but seems like it's just a Caitlyn with some slight stretchy top section.
I might just wait if I ever find one on a sale price to try.
