What the...?
I started by asking for 65J EU sizing
They told me they size bras by breast perimeter, and their cups go AA, AA+, A, A+, B, B+, C, C+, and their bands stretch to the centimetre number (aka a 75 band stretches to 75cm)
They asked for a variety of measurements (nipple to nipple, perimeter of each breast etc) and I kept repeating "I want a band that stretches to 30 inches / 75 centimetres" because I know that EU companies ALWAYS say that their bands stretch to the number on the size.
So they said that 75E (75cm band, 11th cup size) would be what they would send.
What do I get? A bra with
+ D 75
on the label
The band is 65cm unstretched and 85cm (!) stretched
The cup width and gore overlapping was perfect. I sent an email basically saying "the bra is perfect... apart from the size!"
Maybe next time...?
Edit: They said I can exchange for a different size
They said their bras intend to stretch 10-15% to be comfortable for a ribcage but tight enough. This equates to just under 75cm (30 inches). I assume this means that they think a band that stretches 34" at max will fit someone with a 30" ribcage comfortably. This is too big for me, so I think I will go for a 65 or 70 band next and a few cup sizes up.

I had an interview - feature on my blog with the brand and they stressed the need to pick a band that is exactly your underbust size. I think I need to add a little note there.
Also the cup sizes are sooooomewhat diffrent than what they have discussed with me last month. Holy consistency Batman.
They stressed that with me too! But that didn't match up with what they sent.
I've added the measurements now - as you can probably tell, it didn't fit anywhere near what I wanted
