HP, CH, vs CHP?

What's the difference between EM's HP, CH and CHP styles? Is the HP what is now the CH?

  • HP is the first half cup designed by EM. In my size range, HP is overall less projected (but not necessarily at the wire) compared to the others, it gives a more discreet profile and as far as I can remember, it gives more coverage. That being said, there are differences between different HP styles, the Czarny is for me totally different from the newer models when it comes to coverage or straps placement. The shape is overall similar though.
The CH is the most projected and with less coverage (again, in my size). The CHP is a hybrid form of the two previous cuts, more projected than the HP but less than the CHP. The CH cut, unlike the two others, has a characteristic “wavy” cup edge.

  • HP = halfcup that holds boobs close to the chest (shallow but great for cakes on a plate look). Discontinued style. HM is the unpadded version of this.

CH = halfcup that holds boobs out from the body (projected). Used to be available in more sizes, but now only available in smaller cups.

CHP = hybrid love child of CH and HP (get it? CH + HP = CHP). Half cup with projection that still holds close to the body a smidge for that cakes on a plate look. Available only up to size 65JJ/70J/75HH and sister sizes.
