This was just for fun!
I started checking different bra sizing calculators on the interenet, thanks to Boob or Bust-topic in here. As their calculator gave me 40K. So, wanted to see what sizes I get from other calculators that are available with googling. Oh boy... Here are the sizes I got:
-40K
-40DD
-another 40K (however, in EU size it gave me 90H whis is not even close to UK 40K!)
-36I (I assume this is combination of UK and EU size, so basically 80I or 36G)
-36J (another combo, EU 80J or UK 36GG)
-34HH/J
-36GG
-34H
-36HH
And I am sure there would have been more.. From 40DD to 36HH. So many different sizes. I am also very, very surprised some of them suggested me to use 40 band when my underbust size is 34.5. I really don't see the logic on that. I am now using 36 and it's good although I think I could use 34 on some brands as well. I also have couple 38 and those are a bit too loose on me. So 40 would be a disaster! Also, I don't think I could evet fit my boobs to a 40DDAnd my boobs would just swim on 40K! Seriously, 40DD and 40K?! There's a huge difference there!
It's also surprising how one of the calculators gave me completely different size on UK and EU. 40K UK is NOT 90H. As fas as I am aware, 90H would be around 40FF.
This was interesting. Also a bit scary if you think that someone would use just one calculator, get completely wrong size and then use that. And get disappointed, frustrated, even sad when the bra wouldn't fit :/
There are also some accurate sizes as well! I am currently using 36GG/H. Been testing other sizes as well, like 38G which is good on the cup but a bit too loose on the band. I have yet to try 34H but that will be my next target

interesting. i think some brands do still use +5 band sizing though.
Wow!!! Really comes down to educate yourself and then thank God for here because we can look at brand intricacies as they vary too.
