  Then I went on Etsy and searched "curvy clothing". I actually bought a vintage dress which has been my MO for years. Go to thrift and vintage stores and try, try away... and search through 100s of online vintage items looking for measurements close to mine. I've found that vintage sizes are much kinder to smaller-in-proportion waists and have better luck fitting vintage sizes or hand-sewn castoffs.

  On Etsy I did make a few inquiries to getting things custom made. For the price of most of the stores posted on Thin and Curvy I might as well, plus I didn't see hardly a thing I liked. Then it will be made just for me, made in the USA, and helping an INDIVIDUAL, small business owner.
